This program is a Dual qualification that aims to give students the knowledge and skills required to operate effectively and productively in a process manufacturing facility. This learning will improve workplace efficiencies for their employer whilst the student gains 2 nationally recognised qualifications.

It is intended that the vocational outcome for this qualification will allow graduates to take ownership for their own work roles and generally contribute toward improvements and changes in their workplace.

This course consists of 26 units delivered in 4 clusters.

The student cohort for this program consist of existing workers in the manufacturing industry. The qualification requires that students have current or past work experience where operational or technical skills have already been gained, however they have limited exposure to formal training.


This program will give students the knowledge and skills required to operate effectively and productively in a process plant facility. This learning will improve workplace efficiencies for their employer whilst the student gains a nationally recognised qualification.

The purpose of this program is to develop students’ skills and knowledge in competitive systems and practices within their own workplace. This program will give students the opportunity to develop, implement and complete improvement projects in their workplace and improve efficiencies for their employer whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

It is intended that the vocational outcome for this qualification will allow graduates to take on more responsibility for their own work roles and affect and sustain improvements and changes in their workplace.

The course comprises of:

12 units delivered in 4 clusters.

The student cohort for this program consist of existing workers in the manufacturing industry. The qualification requires that students have current or past work experience where operational or technical skills have already been gained and a supervisory, facilitation or similar level of responsibility exists, however they have limited exposure to formal training.


This program will give students the knowledge and skills required to operate effectively and productively in a process plant facility. This learning will improve workplace efficiencies for their employer whilst the student gains a nationally recognised qualification.

It is intended that the vocational outcome for this qualification will allow graduates to take ownership for their own work roles and generally contribute toward improvements and changes in their workplace.
